I needed the pokemon after defeating like three first encounters and losing penny.
Yeah, in my Red nuzlocke, I basically got everything I needed; nothing I wanted escaped me.
So far in Crystal, things have been harder. I failed a few first encounters and my Geodude died before it had a chance to beat Falkner.

Ahhh very good choices. Anorith was always the fossil I chose first in Emerald.
Anorinth is weak and a bitch to train, but Armaldo has some kick ass stats, plus no critical hits against. Just gotta train for more special defense, I think.
